Digital PR Services That Build Links, Authority & Brand Mentions

Earned editorial links and brand mentions on publications your buyers already trust. We win coverage the honest way, and you pay only for links that meet our DR40+ dofollow standard.

What it is

What digital PR actually means

Digital PR is how modern brands earn authority online: you give journalists something worth publishing, and they cite you with a link inside the story. The result is a mention on a real publication, backed by that outlet's reputation, rather than a link you bought or placed yourself.

It is close cousins with traditional PR, but the goal is different. Traditional PR chases print coverage and brand awareness. Digital PR is built for search: the links and mentions feed the authority signals that move rankings and put your brand in front of buyers who are already reading. Done right, it is also the safest link building there is, because the links are earned editorially instead of manipulated.

That is the whole model we run. We are a digital PR agency focused on one outcome: getting your experts quoted in credible publications, and turning each of those mentions into a high-authority editorial backlink. If you came here after Help a Reporter Out closed, our guide on what replaced HARO covers the full timeline and the platforms journalists use now.

What we do

Our digital PR services

Four ways we earn coverage for you. Most clients get the bulk of their links from reactive PR, with the other channels stacked on top when there is a story to tell.

Reactive PR (expert commentary)

We monitor journalist requests all day on Qwoted, Featured.com, Help a B2B Writer, and the platforms that took over after HARO closed. When a reporter needs a source in your field, we pitch you with a sharp, on-topic quote and win the mention. This is the engine that produces most of your links.

Proactive data-led campaigns

We help you turn your own data, surveys, or industry insight into a story worth covering. A tight statistic or a fresh angle gives journalists a reason to link back to you, which is how the best digital PR earns coverage on tier-one sites instead of chasing it.

Newsjacking and trend commentary

When a story breaks in your industry, reporters need expert reaction fast. We position you as the voice they quote, so your brand shows up inside the coverage that everyone is already reading that week.

Founder and executive positioning

We build a credible source profile for your spokesperson and pitch it consistently, so your team gets recognized by name across the publications your buyers actually read.

How it works

Our process, start to placement

  1. Onboarding and angle mapping

We learn your business, your expertise areas, and the topics you can speak to with authority. We agree on target publications and the anchor and profile pages links should point to.

  2. Daily monitoring and matching

Our team watches every relevant journalist request across the major source platforms and flags the ones that fit you. Speed matters here, so we move on deadlines the same day.

  3. Expert pitching

We write each pitch as a PR specialist would: a genuine, quotable answer that helps the reporter finish their story. No spun filler, no keyword stuffing, nothing that gets you flagged.

  4. Placement, verification, and reporting

When coverage goes live, we verify the link, check the domain rating, and add it to your report. You see every placement, its DR, the publication, and the date.

Deliverables

What you get

Every campaign produces the same core outputs: real links, real mentions, and a report you can hand to a client or a board without caveats.

  • Editorial links earned on real publications, not link farms or PBNs
  • DR40+ dofollow mentions as the standard we hold every placement to
  • Branded and spokesperson anchors that read naturally to Google
  • A live report with every publication, link, domain rating, and date
  • Expert profile and pitch angles built around your real credentials
  • One point of contact and honest timelines, set during onboarding

Pricing

Monthly packages, pay per qualified link

We work in monthly plans from 5 to 15 placements, and you only pay for links that clear our DR40+ dofollow bar. No charge for dead ends, no long lock-in to get started. See the current tiers and what each one includes.

Where it fits

Digital PR vs guest posts vs paid links

All three put a link on someone else's site. Only one of them earns that link on merit, which is the difference Google cares about.

Digital PR Guest posts Paid links
How the link is acquired Earned when a journalist chooses to cite you You write a post and place your own link You pay a site owner to insert a link
Editorial control The publication, on merit Shared with the host blog The buyer, which is the risk
Google's stance Aligned with earned, editorial links Fine at quality sites, risky at scale Against link spam policy
Authority signal Strong, tied to the publication's reputation Varies widely by host Often low and easy to devalue

We only build the first column. If a niche needs the other two to move, we will tell you honestly rather than sell you links that put your site at risk.

What to expect

Honest results, not guarantees

No one can guarantee a specific ranking, and any digital PR company that promises one is selling you a story. What we can commit to is process and quality: consistent pitching, DR40+ dofollow placements, and a report that shows exactly where every link came from.

Most clients see their first placements within the first few weeks, though competitive or narrow niches take longer to find the right journalist requests. We set realistic timelines during onboarding based on your topic and the volume of relevant coverage in your space. Links accrue over months, and the compounding effect on authority is the point, so we plan in quarters, not days.

FAQ

Digital PR questions, answered

What's the difference between digital PR and link building?

Link building is the narrow goal of acquiring backlinks. Digital PR is the broader practice of earning coverage, brand mentions, and links by giving journalists something genuinely useful: expert commentary, data, or a timely take. The links are a byproduct of real coverage, which is exactly why they carry weight. In practice our digital PR services deliver both the mention and the link at the same time.

Which platforms do you use to earn coverage?

We work the source request networks that journalists actually use now: Qwoted, Featured.com, and Help a B2B Writer, plus the successors that filled the gap after Help a Reporter Out (HARO) was retired. We monitor them daily so we can respond to deadlines while they are still open.

Are the links dofollow, and what authority can I expect?

We hold every placement to a DR40+ dofollow standard. Journalists control the final anchor and placement, which is what makes these genuine editorial links rather than manipulated ones. We work with branded and spokesperson anchors pointing to your homepage or profile pages, and we verify each link before it goes on your report.

How do you price digital PR services?

We work in monthly packages, and you pay only for qualified links that meet our DR40+ dofollow standard. Plans run from 5 to 15 placements per month. There is no charge for opportunities that fall through or for coverage that does not meet the bar. You can see the current packages on our pricing section.

Isn't HARO dead? Does this still work?

The HARO brand is gone. Cision retired Help a Reporter Out, folded it into Connectively, and shut that down at the end of 2024. The method did not die with the brand. Journalists still need expert sources every day, they just source them on other platforms now. That is where we operate. If you want the full timeline and the tools that replaced it, read our guide on what replaced HARO.

What industries do you not work with?

We stay white-hat and turn down grey or high-risk niches, including cryptocurrency, adult content, gambling and casinos, CBD and cannabis, and weapons. Journalists rarely touch those topics, and taking them on would lower acceptance rates for every client. If you are unsure whether your niche qualifies, ask us before you sign up.
